Rakindu Wickramarathne

  • 24th International Conference of Young Scientists (ICYS – 2017) held in Stuttgart, GERMANY

This conference was held from 16th – 22nd April 2017 and saw participation of about 40 countries.

Rakindu Randiv Wickramarathne of our college was able to win the Silver medal at this event, for his research on “Deposition of air pollutants on pollen grains and occurrence of respiratory allergies among humans”.

 

This was the first time a Sri Lankan was able to win a medal at this conference.

  • Silver medalist in 1st International RMC Young Scientists Conference / Exhibition (iRYSCE – 2017) held in Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA

  • 6th Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS – 2017) held in Kathmandu, NEPAL

This conference was held from 1st – 5th November 2017 and saw participation of about 20 countries.

Rakindu Wickramarathne was able to win the Silver medal at this event, for his research on

“In vitro anti-proliferative effects of the Nauclea orientalis fruit on endometrial carcinoma (AN3CA) cells”.

This was the first time a Sri Lankan was able to win a medal at this conference.

  • 25th International Conference of Young Scientists (ICYS – 2018) held in Belgrade, SERBIA

This conference was held from 19th – 25th April 2018 and saw participation of about 40 countries. Rakindu Wickramarathne was able to win the following medals at this event, for his research on “In vitro anti-proliferative effects of the Nauclea orientalis fruit on endometrial carcinoma (AN3CA) cells”.
